This unit focuses on different land claims for First Nations in Canada . We look at the effects of Treaty but also the effects of not signing treaty. We start with a great video from the National film Board called the "Invisible Nation". Looking at the Algonquin just North of Montreal we see great examples of how European settlement has disrupted the lives of these First Nations.
